A8 Legacy

Terms

Effective date: October 18, 2026.

These terms explain how working with A8 Legacy works: what you buy, how you pay, who owns what, and what happens if plans change. Every film and memoir also has its own written agreement, which you sign before we begin; where the two differ, your agreement wins.

Who we are

A8 Legacy is a brand of MetaMindful LLC, a California limited liability company. Jennifer Ninan, Remembrancer, does the work. Questions: hello@a8legacy.com.

What we make

Prices and payment

Refunds and changes

Your story, your words

Who owns the work

The storyteller owns the finished book and film on final payment: the manuscript, the cover and the files. When a son or daughter pays, they receive their own printed copies and a copy of the film files. We may not share any part of your story publicly without your written permission. Printables are licensed for use in your own home and may not be resold or shared publicly.

Delivery

Films arrive in a keepsake box with an engraved USB drive and a printed card, plus a private link for streaming and backup. Delivery dates are estimates agreed in your agreement. Travel for in-person visits is billed at cost, with an estimate you approve in advance.

If something goes wrong

If we cannot finish your project for any reason, your agreement names what happens: you are refunded everything except the deposit and receive the full transcript and every recording and draft so far. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the project concerned.

Privacy

How we handle your information is set out in our privacy notice.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
